How much CPU should I be using?

Back

Just because you have purchased a higher "limit" hosting accounts does not been that you should be aimig to hit those limits continually.

You should still try to keep your account running as optimaly as possible.

For instance, if you spend more CPU "warming cache" than you would serving the pages, then LiteSpeed is pretty fast and you shoud stop "warming cache".

Standard shared hosting should think about upgrading to a VPS when they start exceed a 5% CPU average, at 10% average we would usually contact you to ask you about an upgrade.

Premium hosting's CPU is measures in % of CPU available so if you have 4 Cores in your account 25% is 1 CPU.

Again you should look at using less than 5% average CPU and we will contact you if you use more than 10% CPU.
